LHA Support ...
LHA support would be nice, i have a lot of games and pd collections in lha and would be nice if winuae uncompressed them and mounted them as a Hard-drive, or disk image (as usually they are disk size)

I can't see that adding lha support to WinUAE would be of that much use.
Most programs that are distributed as an lha archive cannot be run directly anyway and mounting a single lha file as a hd seems a bit silly. Most disk images on the Amiga side are created with dms and there is little point compressing these with lha as they are already compressed. And adfs that are created on the amiga will usually be compressed with gzip (to create and adz) rather than lha. Besides, it's pretty simple to decompress the lha file on either side (Amiga or PC). |
