Awful Noise
If I enable the authentic drive sounds for any of the drives on WinUAE, the drive sounds work, but there is a permanent "WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" sound which doesn't go away and is there untill I turn off the drive sounds on all the drives.
Any ideas? |

48000
Stereo No interpolation No Lag Setting 3 Buffer Ok, I found the problem, If I use 48000 I get the annoying noise, if I set it to 44100, it's fine. Any ideas why it does that? |

when I was testing something with my mvidia the other day, because my radion doesn't work with v0.8.24, I found that running the drive sounds at lower volume, seemed to calm the problem, the drive sound was still scratchy, but none of that high pitch squeeling was present, thanks tony for fixing that one in next release, can't wait for that, will be looking forward to running on ATI radion!
i was using 48000 mono sound too, seemed that any sound sample rate less than this worked ok. |

Unfortunately my Radeon 9700 Pro works fine with 0824.. (even with or without extended desktop enabled)

For the record, I am also using a Radeon 9700 Pro and have no issues with it.
