Wow can't believe I am the very first person to post in this room...
Hi,
Was odd seeing one room no one had ever posted in before... But I do have a question regarding Amiga OS support... Is there a way or does anyone know of a good, easy to use tool I can run on startup that will allow me to cut and paste, similar to CTRL C and CTRL V on Windows systems but for my Amiga? I don't remember if there is even a command in Amiga OS for that... |

DUH! LOL Man what a person forgets over 20 years.
Thanks... You don't happen to know what these commands in Startup-Sequence are for, do you? .key DEST .bra { .ket } I don't remember those either... and not every startup sequence has them... |

Those are to do with scripting. Not sure why they'd be in your startup-sequence.
.KEY specifies the format of the arguments for a script .BRA is changing the opening bracket from < to { .KET is changing the closing bracket from > to } For example: Code:
.KEY printthis .BRA { .KET } ECHO "Print the following text {printthis}." |

I have seen them now listed at the top of a couple different startup sequences which leads me to think they were used as some form of boot up thing to print text or something similar then. Thanks for the info.. Appreciated |
