Yeah I did it like that deliberately so that people who actually read the site will read the spelling mistake but damn leechers will have no idea and I can see them for the fools they are.
Well done for noticing mate |

Due to the effect of some people [ you know who you are ] downloading the entire page including older packs the sites monthly transfer allowance was " eaten in under 10 days [72.9 gigabyte ]
As WHD load is not the ONLY page in the domain , its about being fair to all users , so DON'T PANIC the March pack will become available again later this month , along with any new releases . However older packs while still being made available for direct highspeed download , will be monitored seperatly [ details to follow ] March's pack [for the impatient ] is available through p2p networks , but for those of you with slower conections its maybe worth waiting till the reorganisation is complete So please try to chill out till then |

Surely those who have grabbed the packs can make them available via FTP / etc. I don't trust grabbing stuff like this off P2P as most of the time they are modified...
If people have proper links then it would do the scene good if you could put back in what you have leeched.. Macca |

hehe - I've seen some people offering files such as the WHDLoad ones on E-Donkey / E-Mule - etc and they've turned out to be virus ridden or completley different to what they state..
If you've got official links then great.. call me cynical but I'd rather wait for the official site to be back online.. Macca P.S. I'm trying to promote other members to share.. |

Heh .. One of the major reasons files are hard to remove from P2P by the authorities like RIAA etc.. is because they are CRC'd/Hashed and so you know what your getting is the real deal, ie: they cant inject fake files to discredit the posters of the files etc. |

...and there are some fool-proof way's for checking if the file was modified or original... for instance:
1. How many sources has the file?... if after search, there are many files named the same way, but some have more sources than others - i would download those with more source files. 2. File size - check the EXACT size of the file in bytes from somewhere (KG's site for example) and just download the EXACT sized file. 3. Some clients has some kind of a "real name" for a file, check... Sometimes i tried to download some files, but the '!' at the icon got me attention... after double clicking the file turns out to be the latest: " phuck with connan o'brian" ... or something else than i've searched for... |

It all takes time though..
Getting the file sizes is going to be a problem as KG's site does not list them so that's that idea out of the window... I just thought it would be easier to share - as I've said on numerous occasions if I could help other people in any way I would do... Macca |
