Akira's awful GBA developments
The GBA is a great machine, and the saviour of 2D for us retrogaming lovers. The japanese efforts are pretty much good, as always. And as always, the western releases, in most cases, leave a LOT to be desired. In fact, they are POOP.
First example: The Flintstones - Big Trouble In Bedrock Conspiracy Entertainment What the hell is this crap? With the array of colours available on a GBA screen, they make it look as flat as a Colecovision. And WHO ON EARTH! decided to use the Comic Sans font in there! Playability is zero. Downright pathetic. |

International Karate Advanced
System 3 The GBC game was quite bad compared to the C64 game, but this one is absolutely outrageous. WHY AM I FIGHTING WITH/AGAINST PIMPS! This should be renamed to International Pimpfight Simulator Advance More to come, I won't rest, I'll slag them all! |

Mary Kate and Ashley's Girls Night Out
methinks Real Games for Real Girls is the label :P Oh PLEASE. Dance Dance Revolution is a nice dance game (if you like that kind of stuff), but what on earth is this? For REAL girls? I doubt any self-respected female would even DARE to touch this. Please, have more respect for women, you should not dedicate such a pile of stinking poo to them. This game must be "Made in TalibanĀ©", created as a punishment for the cheating wives. |

Game number four: Razor Freestyle Scooter Crawfish Entertainment Oh man... Scooter? FREESTYLE? Kids, if you are into X-Games, get a skateboard or something. And the dude in the title screen surely is into the style of the extreme sports shite, isn't he? NOT. I think he's Dylan out of 90210. This looks like Paperboy meets 720. But done all wrong. With games like Tony Hawk's on the GBA, you can be sure this one can be missed. |

Shrek - Swamp Kart Speedway
TDK Mediactive "YEAAH! Kart games work for Konami and Nintendo, so let's do our own! But wait, we have no characters to use. We don't have the Disney ones, they are for Mickey's Raceway... What do we use? OH YEAH, SHREK! Hold on, we have no skills at all. So let's rip this Mario Kart Advance r0mz0r I downloaded from emuchina and change the GFX for Shrek ones. Oh! And let's make sure all the tracks look very fluorescent light green. That's how a swamp looks like, right? Please, do not forget to make the sprites look as bad as if we made them on Etch-a-Sketch" Arse. |

Do I not like any western game? Wrong. Tony Hawk's was nice, and Lady Sia is a very enjoyable platformer! The Atari Collection r0x0rz too.
Let's wait and see how the Amiga conversions fare against the western game slagging machine, Akira Sports Illustrated for Kids : Football BAM! Entertainment Least said about the game below the better. I just think all my players are well rotten zombies. |

That's a very enjoyable thread... Keep sending them up, Akira!
IK+ looks completely stupid!!! THat Razor Freestyle thing was released for PSX too. Or at least another game with a scooter.. I saw it on the guy who sells PSX pirated games in the corner of the street I live... he always have a DC and a PSX running games there I also found to be quite stupid EDit: An idea.. try to tell us who developed and published the game when possible. |

It's also interesting to notice that most games are tie-in licenses.
Sometimes it looks like things never change.. |
