Cthulhu Project

While i did see Maurice Doerr work - also known as D6rkn3m0 - present in Facebook and Discord, i don't remember seeing it here, so unless this post is a duplicate, let me present you the Cthulhu Project, a horror themed Dungeon crawler made in Amos, in which am taking care of the soundtrack.

Videos that talk about the project can be seen Here in its youtube channel.

Here is the page from the AmigaFrance forum:

Definitely interested, we indeed do need more CRPGs. Bonus points for going for "serious" Lovecraftian vibe, not the post-modern satirical one so popular nowadays (well, at least here's hoping for what I can gleam from the scr$).

Very nice!

But it would be great if it could use the grind-engine to have smooth transitions in the "view" portion of the screen..
I always have serious trouble of losing orientation with these jumpy transitions

*Uncle Nyarly from "Uncle Vanny", that is how Adam Sandler called Vanilla ice in that's my boy, and how i define Nyarlathotep

No, I'm not going to do it that way, I'm going to stick with the old school classic in terms of moving. It's my first game in 30 years, so I'm going in cool.

It just comes down to personal preferences and orientation skills, I guess.
Still love the pixel art and of course the Cthulhu theme!

looking at the videos on youtube for your project, the "industrial" type of indoor gfx kinda make me think your game is also a sort of dungeon crawler variation of Lethal Company, the picture you have above almost makes that character look like a green lovecraftian lethal company employee.

The graphics look a bit muddy, like it was converted from a higher color depth. Nevertheless I like dungeon crawlers, and the theme is intriguing!

I hope not, the graphics have to be pretty organic, that's how I see them, rounded and dirty walls
