Broken Repo
The fs-uae repo is broken.
This error is present even after re-downloading FrodeSolheim's release key. This issue is affecting, Ubuntu & Debian installs that I've tested. Code:

Hi,
I think the reason why you may get a slow response is you have not given a lot of information here. I use FS-UAE on many linux platforms and only checked to see if it was installing correctly using "raspberry-pi-os (64bit)" with "debian 11" and everything worked fine. It installed version 3.0.5 correctly and everything worked on a brand new install. I followed the install code for debian 11 from here: https://fs-uae.net/download#debian I did this as follows: 1: Installed a new 64 bit version of raspberry pi os on a pi 4 8GB with a 16GB microSD card Opened a terminal and 2: Ran: sudo apt update 3: Ran: sudo apt upgrade (y) 4: Ran: sudo apt autoremove (y) 5: Rebooted the computer Opened a terminal and 6: Ran these lines: echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/reposit...ble/Debian_11/ /' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/home:FrodeSolheim:stable.list ------- curl -fsSL https://download.opensuse.org/reposi...11/Release.key | gpg --dearmor | sudo tee ------- /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/home_FrodeSolheim_stable.gpg > /dev/null ------- sudo apt update ------- sudo apt install fs-uae fs-uae-launcher fs-uae-arcade ------- If you would like me to check it on a different OS just let me know which one you are using. Regards wiisoldier P.S. If you get problems with repositories in linux I can recommend a program called "stacer" sudo apt install stacer Last edited by wiisoldier; 15 February 2023 at 00:59. |

I'm not the only one having this issue.
http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...0&postcount=67 I have done this on fresh installs of both Debian 11, and Ununtu 22.04, with both giving the same error. I have also performed the steps to install the repo files. This is also affecting a machine that already had the repo setup and working. I only found out about the issue, when a test install of my "AmiDeb" system failed, and installed a older fs-uae etc. |

I posted about it days ago wrt an existing AmiDeb instance here ; I had thought the only ramification was one couldn't update the fs-uae(-launcher) packages if they exist, which they don't, so no foul I guess ; in the case of actually >installing< AmiDeb...I hadn't considered that tango =)
