Og! or Trog! AGA version
Just finished the interview with Dave Parsons - the AGA version of Og! Trog is missing from his collection - does anyone have a copy of this so that we can complete his Amiga collection?

Sorry to revive an old thread but... was taking a look at the latest versions of "Trog" [OCS] & [AGA] tonight
In TOSEC there are currently the following files: ... Trog (1992)(Parsons, Dave).adf ... Og! (1993)(Parsons, D.).adf ... Trog (1996)(Parsons, Dave)(AGA)[ak Og!].adf i.e. 2 x OCS versions and 1 x AGA version. From the authors website (http://www.confused-pelican.com/trog.html), he only has download links to files that match CRC32s with: a) Trog (1992)(Parsons, Dave).adf b) Trog (1996)(Parsons, Dave)(AGA)[ak Og!].adf Wonder why he doesn't link to the later 1993 release renamed as Og!? Anyway; here's the obvious difference: Trog: Og!: I wonder if besides the "Story" screen and updated "Title" screen there are any differences in terms of extra levels etc? Personally I like the original 1992 title screen better but then again it doesn't match with the [AGA] version that shows "Og!" (which you only see when dead; not on game startup): |

Maybe he wanted to avoid confusion with 1990 Midway game Trog.

Thank you s2325 but my question isn't really why he changed the name from "Trog" --> "Og!", it's:
a) Why doesn't the author link to the later 1993 version instead of the 1992 version on his website? b) Besides the "Story" screen and updated "Title" screen in the 1993 version, are any differences in terms of extra levels etc. when compared to the 1992 version? You can get the [AGA] version from Dave's website: http://www.confused-pelican.com/ It's also in the latest TOSEC files |

ECS version support 2nd pad button to jump, so it's quite playable with a CD32/Sega joypad, but the AGA version don't.
It would be much appreciated if a new slave with CUSTOM2=1 option can fix this. |
