Looking for Game-Selector (CDTV)
Does anyone know "Acrade Game Selector" ?
I'm looking for such a nice tool, but for CDTV - the above mentioned AGS only works under AGA (suitable for CD32 compilations). Anyone an idea? |

Aminet might be the best place to search for such a tool. A brief search found these possibilities:
Selector V3.0 Selector Chooser The Choice V2.23 Game Select V1.3 File Selector V0.0b |

Oh, I forgot to write: It should be controll-able by Joystick/Joypad.
As far as I know, the few mentioned by you are only WB, so mouse-controlled. |

Then use JoyMouse to utilise one of the mouse-driven utilities above from Aminet. Alternatively, you could make a CDTV mouse/joystick adaptor using this hardware hack and use one of the Aminet utilities above. Where there's a will, there's (usually) a way around these things!

The source code for AGS is available for download (or was he last time I saw it). You could chnage the screenmode to use 640x256 hi-res 16 colour mode to have it running on a CDTV. I had it running on an Amiga2000 in an arcade cabinet - the screenshots were in 13 shades of grey but still looked OK. I uploaded the ECS version I compiled to emu-uk (now total-emu) but I think it was lost when the server crashed years ago. If I can find it again you can have it.

@astuermer
I would be interested to know if you got whdload running on the cdtv. On mine (ECS/kick2/1MB) couldnt get anything to run, even though it's similary specced as my A600 (which runs many games perfectly). |
