Top 10 Amiga FPS Games but...
...but only those that did not require PowerPC CPUs, RTG graphic cards and released before 1997 when a whole sea of PC ports started appearing on Commodore's system.
As usual, it's my Top 10 best, but if you disagree, let me know why and let's discuss it. If you liked it though, give me a shout too. Enjoy! [ Show youtube player ] |

Well at least you manage to create a top 10, I don't actually like any of them. So mine is a top 0.

Fears does something really weird to my head. I can't put it in words but the zig-zaginess of the pixels just annoys me beyond belief. And I don't know why cause it really shouldn't. They're just not square... That's all.

Death Mask is like playing Dungeon Master with guns. Not sure I'd even call it an FPS... although that's technically what it is

It's blasphemy making Alien Breed 3D before Gloom.
But cool video bro Also, I think you were too hard on DeathMask. It was great alternative for A500 users back in the day, that want a taste of something similar. The game have it's limits, but it managed to be very playful and fun. I wish more Wolf/Doom clone followed the same concept of gameplay (speedy and nice), even if they did it just on flat shaded walls. |

Gloom is an arcade shooting gallery wheras Alien Breed 3D is an atmospheric survival horror in comparison. They are different and I prefer atmospheric games with good level design so I prefer AB3D hands down.

Great video! I agreed until the last two where if it was my list I’d just swap them around. AB3D has some really incredible level design and atmosphere (CD32 version has a great soundtrack too) gloom just got a bit samey and boring and never felt like you were in “a place” just a weird monster maze, to me..
FEARS has the worst enemy ai/behaviour ever, totally breaks the game. Edit: lol, snap! |

And it's all fair. Cause after all everyone's a little different and has different likes and dislikes. I loved Gloom for the hectic action and pure fun.

And Fears... Oh my days... Why oh why didn't they use square pixels? When I look at it in motion, I feel as if I had few drinks already. |

Agreed! Was mentioned in video as a 90 degree turn based game. It also has strafing but diagonal strafing. Still an enjoyable game to play. |
