Mc68010

Hi guys

From what I understand, replacing the 68000 with a 68010 on an A500 should allow the extra cpu instructions used by whdload.
I've had a look around to see if any are available and so far I can only find some very suspect listings from china on ebay.
Does anyone know if these cpus ares still sold by reliable sellers?

Unfortunately it said "Product not available" after I registered.
I'll bookmark the site for other stuff though as I've not come across that oner before.
So still need to find one. They seem rare as hen's teeth.

Hi, are you thinking of VBR for the 'quit by a key' feature in WHDLoad?. I don't think that has much of a relevance any more. This is a post from one of the devs:

Yes indeed . Thanks for advising as I was about to spend $60+ ($50 of which is shipping from the U.S.).
I'm going to try WHLOAD with just a 68000 and see how it goes. Just got to fit the IDE/8MB adapter (arrived today) first .

Yes, think you'll be absolutely fine with a plain 68000 for all but the oldest slaves
