Amiga 2000 black screen

I have an amiga 2000 rev6 with black screen. I have checked all the custom chips on my amiga 500 and they all work well. Power light glows red all voltages are normal chips all are warm (agnus is a bit warmer) Ram chips seem cool. Battery has been removed all traces look good and checked with ohm meter. There is no corrosion on any of the chip pins all looks good. I'm at a loss what do I check next? Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Orion.

There are several historical posts with similar symptoms on EAB alone. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=79661 and http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=39295 see4m to be relevant.

1) You'll need this schematic http://www.amigawiki.org/dnl/schematics/A2000_R6.pdf to check that all the IC pins near the Varta battery area are correctly connected.
2) check the IC socket pins in the Varta battery area for corrosion
3) also remove the socketed ICs in the Varta battery area and check for "track" and "via" corrosion underneath. Just removing and reseating the socketed ICs may temporarly improve the situation.
