17 Bit PD Collection disk failures
Hi there
I am experiencing problems when trying to extract ADF images from the 17 Bit PD Disk Collection on CD & getting a lot of 'Not a DOS Disk' errors after extracting. I'm currently only trying on the 1st CD but getting around a 30% failure rate - which seems way too high. I've tried multiple ISO images & also tried using an original CD (I got them all before the days of FTP servers) - all under WinUAE & get the same failure for specfic disk images. Have also tried a different DMS extract utlity aside from the 17 Bit one on the CD. I've attached a couple of example dms files for disks 128 & 131 that I get the 'Not a DOS Disk' failure on consistently. I suppose my questions are - is this a known issue with the 17 Bit Collections - so fundamentally dodgy original DMS files - or is it another issue? Would appreciate anyone having a go at UnDMS'ing the attached files to see if the ADFs will actually run. As ever - thanks for any help offered. Edit - apologies looks like EAB won't allow me to attach DMS files |

Did you try booting from the disks? Maybe they *are* NDOS and nothing is wrong?
