How to modify a floppy drive Chinon fz-354 to have activity led

Hi there,
reading this thread I thought that I could modify a floppy drive Chinon fz-354 and use it on a "towerized" Amiga 1200.

I've found a suitable front panel and adapted an eject button as well but the drive is missing the activity led.

Has anyone ever tried to add an activity led to this floppy drive?
If so could they provide me with step by step instructions to do it?

Thanks in advance to anyone for their help!
