Wow, that first tie is a bit of a corker. Capehorn is, of course, the defending Knockout champion and has a brilliant record in this competition in recent years - but being unseeded in this draw has proven to be a headache. It's first versus third in terms of the final placings in the League round earlier this year but with quite a big gap in terms of score.
Mind you, Lines vs Joni is second versus fourth in that regard so that's certainly not a lightweight battle either. |

196,210 Screwed up but the score is better than it would have been if I had finished the game without losing a life... Lines vs Joni surely will be interesting. |

Took a while submit something, but it's obviously a busy week (merry xmas to all ) I was reminded of the flickering sprites & slowdown on whd version.. found this out the hard way Easiest solution is to just disable cycle exact, no need for jit etc. |

Well this is embarrassing...
I can't really complain about getting drawn against John4p. I had improved my score a little bit on Supercars but it was such a small improvement and I was a bit frustrated about how I managed to lose on the final race (I started the last lap in 2nd and finished a pixel behind the car in 3rd) and I must have forgotten to post it. Only a small improvement, but it would have been enough to keep me top of the group and get me a much better draw. So on to Apidya, and I guess I should be thankful to John4p for posting a beatable score when he probably easily could have got 250,000+. John's score was interesting because it is almost exactly the same as the best score I've ever got on Apidya which made me think I could just about do it. If I could just get past level 4-2 then the milking possibilities were there to get me over 200,000 points. But the best score I ever got was after 5 weeks of straight play and I only had a few hours today to brush up and try to match it. I've had loads of plays but kept failing at different parts of 4-1, and once a single life goes, you have no chance. I got something like 110,000 but didn't take a screenshot as it wasn't enough. Good luck in the next round John. |

And it's all over.
Well done to the four winners. Special mention to jPV who won his tie today by a mere 255 points. That is remarkably tight. Pleasingly we've got a 50/50 split in terms of EAB and Lemon players for the semi-finals. Draw coming up... |
