A Journey Into Early Amiga Graphics
Yup, we all used Deluxe Paint and other such packages when we first got our Amigas. For me, it was a very creative period - Deluxe Paint, Imagine, Scala, Brilliance, Image FX etc. (to mention just a few graphics packages).
This is a sample of my early (and, yes, I mean early!) graphics work! |

This artwork was in Amiga Power issue 30, page 66. It was a Special In The Style Of, where you did a picture 'in the style of something else'.
I did Lemmings in the style of movies. Only the Scanners and Die Hard pics got printed. Here is the full thing, for the first time! |

This was a combination of bad DPaint artwork and a Vista background.

This was during my 'ripping screens from movies with Vidi Amiga 12' period.

This was, er, a skeleton in a coffin (from The Good, The Bad And The Ugly) holding a copy of Amiga Power.

I really liked the Lemmings. Don't know scanners though but the others were quite well connected with the movies.
And the skylines. Did you draw those or was that a primitive digital camera? |
