Installing AmigaOS 41FEUP1 on AmigaForever
Hello everyone,
i'm trying the fantastic Amiga Forever 7. The software is great. Btw, i'm having problem installing AmigaOS 4.1 FEUP1 for classic in the system. I accurately followed the procedure described to install the OS, but when i finish installation and i reboot i get a guru meditation error. I have the same result using the WinUAE only. I'm almost sure that it's related to hard disk configuration. I tried everything, but if someone would like to help me to configure an hard disk with proper controller, size, file system... i will appreciate it. Thank you very much |

I followed the guide in post #2 where Saghalie posted one link to it, but I have one problem: I did as Cloanto pointed out in the linked guide, but my emulated AmigaOS4.1FE refuse to recognize the Picasso IV graphic card. The only usable setting I could choose was 640x512 Interlaced - 256 colors, and I picked the 800x600 @ (lowest refresh rate) monitor driver on the Guest OS when I installed it. How can I fix it without reinstalling my working AmigaOS4.1FE?

You're taking about in the emulated session? Not sure what you need. But I attached an image of my working session.

Yes. I am talking about the emulated session. I have the same setup as you have in the picture and I followed the guide from Cloanto, but I booted and installed from the CD and not from the Bootdisk. I have plenty of RAM and HD space on my PC, but that's not the problem.

this is an install document I created before Cloanto created their help page.
See if it will help you. https://1drv.ms/b/s!Am9nRCGb_XSzpF0Rqc_Je9RPZaMq |
