Repeating vertical lines on screen on A2000 with ScanPlus ECS scandoubler

Hi everyone. I installed a ScanPlus ECS in my A2000 a while back. The process of removing Denise and adding her to the ScanPlus board was easy enough, and it works. But...I've got this ugly vertical banding problem that you can see in the attached photo. What I don't know is if this is a problem with the ScanPlus device, or my Denise chip, capacitors, etc. I'd love to clean up this video output if I could (it's more apparent in person that in the photo, but note the two vertical bands every centimeter or so), but without spares of anything I'm not sure of the culprit. Anyone have any similar experiences?

It looks like you're using an LCD and my guess is that is the culprit. I have this problem with the scan doubler on one of my Amigas and the way to remove it is to adjust the pixel clock of the display - IF it has such an adjustment and that's quite a big ask for modern LCDs.

May not be it at all but worth looking at.

Thanks, that actually got me on the right track. I bumped up the pixel clock on the Acer LCD panel (I stupidly gave away my CRT monitors years ago), it defaults at 50 but I moved to 88 and the quality is very clean now.

ScanPlus ECS

Hi continue in this thread about my problems with ScanPlus ECS. Have an A2000 I have replaced all capacitor motherboards and power supply. Has a fantastic image of the amigans regular video port to a 15Hz monitor. But install ScanPlus ECS to be able to get picture on more modern monitor that can not handle 15Hz but does not work has tried 2 different screens and both say the video signal can not be displayed. Have I missed something? Maybe a cable is wrong? or jumper? I bought this card used and can be broken even if the seller said it was working. Looking at the pictures you see something that looks wrong? Have no manual so have googled and looked at pictures how it should be connected. Might also mention that the amigan regular video port works as usual even with ScanPlus ECS mounted. The Denise chip should therefore be complete and the contact good I think. Thank you for helping me with this problem.
