Looking for GVP DSS8(+) or similar

Hi everyone !

Would like to give a proper try to tracking (been fantasizing about it for 30+ years

... And digitize my Reface CS synth, piano, voice, guitar etc...

I was lent by a friend a cheap digitizing cartridge but the result was awful (aliasig is ok-ish but there is way too much background noise) !

It seems the DSS one was pretty good. Would anyone be willing to sell me one ? (or swap with some games or demoscene CDs maybe ?)

The DSS8+ was pretty good, but it is still an 8-bit only sampler. I would rather recommend digitizing on the PC. The average sound card should have a 16bit input with much better quality than DSS8+ could possibly offer.

Yep, I'm well aware of that, that makes 100% sense indeed !

I was looking for a 100% self-contained experience though, and found the samples made with this card were satisfying for my use case. (i.e. mods by Frédéric "Absys" Bellec)

Muuuch better that what I got with the Technosound.

Also because the Amiga is my only computer (a single PC for the whole family) and because I wanted to use a low-res interface (due to eyestrain). Ahah, the "Sciatica" demo recently released kinda talks about that
