Dungeon Master WHD disk.2, decrunched for JST usage

Hi!

I am trying to run the installed version of Dungeon Master WHD availabe in a certain FTP.
The problem is that I am running it using JST (which is compatible with WHD installs!) on an 1.3 kick/wb system, and JST doesn't seem to support crunched disk images so it's complaining about the disk.2 file being crunched.

I tried to decrunch via xfddecrunch, but I get a message that says "resource missing" when trying to decrunch disk.2

So, can you guys point me to a decrunched disk.2 for Dungeon Master WHD?

Thanks!

I used Dungeon Master v3.6 (Psygnosis) without WHDload on A4000 040@25MHz for years. If you get stuck, just copy all the files from the v3.6 disk into a directory on your HDD and enjoy. They even included an icon to launch from Workbench.

I'm not sure this is what I did after all. Possibly v2.0 but it is not safe because the copy protection can trigger at any time.

@alexh: tried that and I get a nice "Damaged Master Disk" message.
So It's not as easy as dumping the 3.60 contents into an HDD directory, I think.

If you want the best version of DM/CSB on Amiga, I recommend Meynaf's DMCSB http://meynaf.free.fr/pr/index_en.html
Very system friendly, automapper, and lot of custom dungeons.

I don't remember doing any for this game. I'll check tonight.

Did that appear after you click the enter/resume button next to the entrance? I think I might have had to add an assign now I think about it.

That would be great for a KS 3.x system, but I am building a basic system around KS 1.x with basic plain 68000...

Hmm no, it appears immediately after running the executable.

There is no icon on the v3.6 disk.

It looks like I must have used Dungeon Master v2.0? (That has a disk icon, not an executable icon)

I took the disk icon and created an icon-x script?

assign DungeonMaster: dh0:<path to install dir>
dm

Hmmm. Googling, I'm not sure this was what I did (i.e. v2.0 contains copy protection which runs for long periods but can trigger errors at any time).

Have to wait until I can get my Amiga out and check.

@alexh: any news on this? Even with the decrunched disk.2, the WHDLoad slave for Dungeon Master doesn't work with JST... So a non-WHDLoad HD-Installed version would be great, and I don't really need the DM 3.x improvements.
