I'm registered!
I know it's little cash but to me every cent counts terribly, so I finally got hold of an extra and spent it in the WHDLoad registration! I'm very happy about it, no more nags and i finally could support Bert with his work!
Well just wanted to say that, I hope everyone registers this terrific piece of software. If you save one buck a day in a few months you'll have it ready |

Well done for registering, I will confirm to the board when I get back and check out your Amiga |

You mean, how could he live with himself, knowing he hadn't supported the single most important utility for the amiga community today?
Thanks for registering. When you do good to the amiga community, you do good to me |

How could I? well sorry, but every bloody cent I earn has to be spent in my house and its expenses, and further injected into my business. It's not that I liked it, I just couldn't spend anything for "myself", you know?
I'm sorry for not supporting it early but I did what I could. You have no idea of what the situation over here is, Jim's the only one who can alk from experience about it. |

Note, that I wasn't playing whdloadified games before this, even though I knew about it's existence.. Then I found the ready packaged installers with disk images offered by DeCreator and decided to give it a go.. One night of going through the lists and copying all my fave games to my A4000's HD later I saw that it does indeed actually work! I whipped out my credit card at the speed of light. :-) I wasn't quite sure that it would perform so well, but most games even start from my workbench, even though many of them crash some time into the game.. No wonder, my full boot configuration is quite patchy + I run CGX, etc.. I wonder if the stuff will run better on my other A4000 that has an A3640 board.. That should be a little more compatible than the CSmkII 060/50.. Whee! Anyway, thanks to everyone who's done whdload things, you've managed to decrease my productive free time even more by getting these games to work on my A4000. (many aga-fixed versions don't work properly on a very expanded Amiga, even though they boast 060 compatibility :-/) Last edited by Jope; 14 July 2004 at 19:44. Reason: my grammar si teh poop's!!!! |

I'm registered for some time now (previous JST registered user also). I'm going to re-register for my second miggy. I'm sure it's not required, but they deserve the support.

Do you all not think that making the reg fee $5 would make more people want to pay for it and there for generating more cash for the WHD team?
£15 is quite alot of money for someone like me to register a program which can be used in just the same way but for free. |
