Storm Across Europe: does the ST conversion exists?

The question of the existence of the Atari ST version of Storm Across Europe was recently raised on MG.

As of now, only elements about such a version being listed on a catalog have been mentionned.
Also, some elements seem to indicate that this version was actually cancelled:

However, a post on a BBS from aug. -91 indicates it was cancelled: http://www.atariarchives.org/cfn/12/05/03/0157.php

Quote: --------- From Rich Bruns - Category 9, Topic 47, Message 70 - from the ST Round- table on Genie... I called SSI two days ago (I've called every month since December) to find out about STORM ACROSS EUROPE for the ST and they told be the project was cancelled. "A problem with the compiler", they said. They have been assuring me month after month that it would be comming out the following month. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???!!!!! --------- So until one finds an actual box for ST, it could be vaporware.

We currently list the ST version as an existing conversion:

Does anyone have more information or proof of the existence of the ST version?

If not, I guess I will remove the ST conversion from the entry, until someone can prove the opposite.
