AmigaOS3.9 version for DraCo Cube
Greetings
I'm hoping someone can help me out in acquiring a copy of this in iso format perhaps? PM if you can help, thanks. |

Im afraid I cant help you but I am intrigued especially by the Draco/Casablanca and the low price it sells for on auction sites.
Can you enter the early boot menu? Have you tried connecting the HD to PC/WinUae? |

I'm not sure why the DraCo or the later counterpart sells so cheaply, I think people forget that there infact is an 060, VLab and Sound card at the heart of the machines and not to mention the large fast harddrives etc... and random boards and bits and pieces people install along the way...
I certainly won't be selling my DraCo cubes. I have 2, one is still boxed and other is a solid black rendition... I've never turned either on, I'm just getting prepared for when I do So I can't help you either |

I know it is not straightthru, but if you want I can help you tweak a 3.9 install to work on a DraCo.

I might pick one up if the price is right, could be fun to figure it out myself but dont want to be stuck with a dead wait. What about the partion that has the Movie editing software? |

The audio/video partition can be backed up/restored with Diavolo 2000 if needed. But I would certainly install 3.9 on top of an ordinary 3.1 DraCo install (I still have that DraCo install .iso), and leave that A/V partition untouched. Last edited by gulliver; 17 November 2010 at 22:47. |

Well that's kind of you but I find it a little strange that no one owns this Draco 3.9 CD?
I'm certainly not one for shying away from price but I decided I wasn't going to buy one of these. I've spoken to a chap recently that appears to be a seller of this distribution but he wan'ts 50 euro for it and 15 euro for postage. I've decided that that is too much since you can pick up 2nd hand copies of 3.9 and cybergraphix for 10 euro each... I do own both... About 2 weeks ago I mailed him back saying if he'd consider selling it a little cheaper I'd do it... he hasn't replied, thinking perhaps I'll get desperate? LOL Not likely since I'm not in any hurry to turn them on... and I will eventually find this distribution unless of course no one brought one LOL If he'd said say 25 euro plus 7 euro postage I would have gone, sure and pay pal its that exact moment... and even this is a very generous price especially considering how much the machines go for sometimes... way too low... |
