Linking to HOL from the forum
For instance you'd do... (like wikipedia)
[[Toki]] Or [[Speedball2]] And it'd take you to HOL entry. Would be good for fast referencing. |

These may help:
http://eab.abime.net/misc.php?do=bbcode#hol Might not be exactly what you are looking for but it's still helpful enough. |

It's actually easier to just link it than that method, google "Hol gamename" and link. With that method one actually has to grab the ID number
Maybe {HOL}Cadaver{/HOL} would make the database spit the game. |

It's not quite that simple as game names in hol are not necessarily unique (at least not yet anyway.)
eg. Robocod could link to multiple games (ECS/AGA/CD32), Indiana Jones 3 (adv/action) and so on Also names that are a subset of another name might prove problematic (eg. Speedball, Speedball 2; Stardust; Super Stardust) It's possible that the CodyId could be used, but you would have to look it up so it really defeats the purpose. |

Yes, maybe, well, if it lead to a disambiguation page it wouldn't be bad either.
Or even just search results of a string. When multiple spit search results, when returning an identic string redirect to game directly. Admittedly the AGA\ECS variety is pretty brutal. |
