Angry Help My WinUAE is busted! :(

I dont know what Ive done here, probaly some simple setting but I messed up somewhere

My rom path is correct so Im not sure why I'm getting these error messages?
Before when I loaded up WinUAE and started it used to boot into Workbench which is installed on my virtual HD.

I think Ive figured it out myself lol I renamed the Main WinUAE Folder and that would cause this as the HD's are not showing the right path xD, I need to get some sleep, ignore my stupidity ..

From time to time, you need to have WinUAE rescan your roms.

Go into Paths, rescan your roms then by clicking Rescan ROMs, and check if among those available to WinUAE is the one your config is supposed to load.

We all would fancy a little extra of sleep, but EAB clutches are calling .

Yeah, don't believe the hype. WHDLoad is indeed WinUAE user friendly, for the most part.

Just curious, any reason why you wouldn't run the emulator full screen ?

OK, the resolution for your windowed display could be 720x568, for it not be stretched in unusual ways.

And myself I use the full window mode the most, which is a kind of mix between full-screen and Window mode.

No. Only if the rom scanner changes, but certainly not 'from time to time'.

The whole time I've had WinUAE running, flipping years 'n' years now, I've never rescanned the roms yet! Everything is still A-OK since the first time I scanned them.

Deli, why on earth would you want to:

'need' my arse

You'll only ever 'need' to do this if you move them somewhere else, change the path by accident, change the folder name where they are stored, transport WinUAE to another PC using a slightly different location (IE. D: ) or added some new roms.

Other than that, if I've missed some never mind, you 'DON'T NEED' to do a rescan

EDIT: I'm waiting

With beta 14, and while using different versions -beta and stable, one after the other, I noticed rescanning the ROMs was a necessary step. In fact, clicking the ... button next to the rom path would not even show the other roms in the path.

This is fixed in beta 16 (please, if you didn't notice it in beta 14, don't make a fuss about it), but if you want the correct rationale, here it is :
After the rom scanner switching to the replacement ROM, it may be advisable to run the ROM scanner again.

You are on your own if you use betas. (and you do not talk about betas either )

Swichted from beta 14 to beta 16 and didn't need to rescan. Can you explain that? You're again making wrong assumptions and state it as a fact

Then i have to wonder, i am using the kick Replacement between
my gaming sessions. All i do after that is selecting the Kick.rom from the pull down menu
And i am using the beta's too but running 1.6.1 is no problem
I think you have stored different uae in different folders,
maybe you want to try all from one WinUAE location
But rename the .exe first

EDIT:Where are all that post coming from...

@Deli

Listen to others, especially Toni Wilen, you might find you're talking through your backside a little

I have 6 different versions in different folders and I never needed to rescan after I used an older version. Of course I don't click on 'rescan' all the time either

All my roms are in one single zipped archive, point to the folder where that is and, hey presto, I've got the lot, no matter which version I install

Cool kit this WinUAE, it's surprisingly complex but easy to use

Good to know. every day a teaching lesson
I thought the path's were stored in registry
Or they were in the past? i put them together for years now
But no rescan, in any way they are stored
