HD Installers needed please
I have noticed that their are WHDload games available but i already have gigs worth of .ADF files so i cant be doing with deleteing them and re-finding all the games to then figure out WHDload.
What im after instead is this. I have been noticeing that their are installs made for .adf disks to. The other day in the zone their was an install made for installing an .adf nondos disk game (cant remember the name of the game). So i started up WB3.1 (in WinUAE) and put the nondos disk of the game in and started the installer that i found on the zone. It asked for the disk i started it and the installer forced installed the game! Are their any more of these 'force installers' out their in one batch to download or a site to goto? I would be very greatfull if someone had a load of these 'installers' and could zip them up and put them on the zone? Either that or an address? I dont want any WHDload though. Thats very much different. Thanks all for all your help in this. |

Most of them wont work on all systems and tbh I think you should go the WHD route.. I have about 50+ CD's of stuff which I'm sure will have some on!
I remember back in the day having an installer for Mortal Kombat 2.. It needed 4mb fast ram as it loaded all images there but with Winuae memory problems shouldn't be a problem |

yes bippym, i've over 1800 installed WHDLoad games and the most works fine. It's so comfortable pressing F10 and play the next game without changing disc images.

Mmm... maybe I should get WHDload versions of the games then. i have a few questions then.
1) Where do i get the majority of WHDload games from? 2) How do you install them? 3) Where do you get WHDload from? EDIT: I have version 16.4 installed on a HD with WinUAE. I just clicked the installer and just said yes or go to everything it said, without changing directories. Did that install it ok then? As i cant find any icons to click on etc... Thanks all.
