YAM 2.4 restoring emails?

I'm trying to access some OLD YAM emails from a 2005 back-up CD of my Amiga system.


I'm currently using the latest registered version of MorphOS on a PowerBookG4.


I have the YAM folders installed from the back up and can launch the YAM program. I can open emails for all users in the INCOMING boxes, but not in any of the sub-folders. When I try to open any sub-folder email, I get an error message like:

Couldn't read from file user/path/subfolder/mail.xxx
The file doesn't seem to exist

In the YAM folder on the drive, all the sub-folder directories are there with a bunch of files in each.

If something is corrupted with YAM, is there a way to relink or restore these files?
