hi!
Heya all,
I was checking that forum since some weeks and i decided to say hi in a "non-anonymous way" ! First time i saw an Amiga i was 6 (omg that was more than 20 years ago!), it was a A500, and we had the same one at home not much time later. Got a A1200 when the A500 didn't work anymore and discovered lots of good things (Turrican, ProTracker...) Now I don't use an Amiga anymore (tho there is still a A1200 at my parents' ), but i still play sometimes to Amiga Games via WinUAE. What to say more, i'm a web developer, i live near Paris in France, and everyday at work i'm listening to old tunes i found at unexotica site with Deliplayer (that kinda rocks!) Well cya soon all ! Salut!
I think you need to get that A1200 from your parents - the real thing is the best but Emulation is a very good second place. I started with the A500 too, great times! I think you will enjoy these forums, so many great memories and things to do. |

Welcome to EAB!!
BrooksterMax is right, you need to grab that A1200 from your parents place and fire it up, such a lot has changed even recently new things are being worked on. My first Amiga experience was an A500 at a friends house, this would be like you about 20 years ago! But I never owned an Amiga until about 1999/2000 when I got my first A1200. It went in storage after a few years of use and came out about a year ago, since then I've bee hooked Hope you enjoy your stay. Steve. |
