Screen Size on LCD - ClassicWB AdvSP

Hi,

I have recently setup ClassicWB ADVSp on my A1200 with 4GB CF, Killer Gorilla Game and Demo Packs and all runs fantastically! Very Quick, looks great and is wonderfully useable (Blizzard IV 030 64Mb and 68882 CoPro).

But for some reason on my LCD TV (using Monitor out to SCART) I have borders at the edges of my TV (No problem with games and demos fullscreen is used). I have adjusted the RES and nothing seems to make a difference to the horizontal width. Vertical is fine. I do have another install on a seperate CF card (MagicWB I believe) and this fills the full screen in WB. I have gone through many settings for screenmode etc, but it doesn't seem to make ay diff, I still have the horizontal issue. Is this just the nature of the beast or am I missing something obvious?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Ross.

Go to the top menubar Settings->Copper->Disable. See if that makes a difference.

Hi Bloodwych,

Thanks for the reply (straight from the horses mouth!)
Didn't seem to make a diff. Still have the borders (horizontal)

Thanks,

Ross.

Play with the overscan settings in System:Prefs/Overscan, not sure why you have borders.

Copperdemon places a black border around the Workbench window, thought it might have been that but it seems not.

Hi Bloodwych,

It seems that they are not borders as such i.e they are the same colour as the WB screen (grey with copper disabled and not black ) but is there any way to make the Workbench screen fill the whole screen, for example the top title bar for Workbench seems to be within a border and not strectch right across the panel from left to right, maybe this is just normal? It's been a fair while since I used a real Amiga TBH.

Regards,

Ross.

Only way is to use Overscan settings in the Workbench prefs.

Hi Bloodwych,

No problem, which overscan settings should I tweak specifically?

Thanks,

Ross.

Edit both text and graphics options to fill the screen with the adjustables then click save.

ClassicWB ADVSP & Picasso96 versions

Hi Bloodwych,

Recently I installed a Mediator 1200TX and a Radeon 9250 256MB on my A1200T project.

Now I´m working at 1600x900 60hz TrueColor on OS 3.9 BB2 with 88% Chipram free and 84% Fastram Free (I have a Blizzard 1260 128MB). So, my particular OS 3.9 BB2 installation works like a charm.

But....

ClassicWB ADVSP is a very good environment for me and I want to continue using it.

I have ADVSP installed on other HDD (It´s possible for me to swap several HDD installations on my system). My questions:

ADVSP is compatible with Mediator 1200TX, Picasso96 and Radeon 9250?

I need any special configuration?

What about high resolutions?

Another question....

It´s possible to install ClassicWB P96 version on a real A1200?

Thanks

PD: Excuse me my poor English, but is not my mother languaje.
