Minkey - Possible new Amiga Platformer
Hiho... just wanted to show some improvements of my new try creating a platformer game for Amiga.
[ Show youtube player ] I am working on it since Covid19 Outbreak and at the moment there are 11 Levels finished.... The video shows Level 11. :-) It runs on standard A500 with 512k Chip and 512k Slow memory. The main game engine is 90% finished (as it was in R.E.R.O.) and I am waiting for some new tilesets for further levels. There are also more colorful levels ready with nice copper'ed backgrounds, I will post them soon. Hopefully this will end up in a complete game this year. Greets & stay safe !! |

Alpha, you should post some screenshots or videos of the earlier stages; which are very colourful and bright
The later stages I played, I think from 7 onwards are dark and underground like level 11 that you posted. |

That's looking fantastic! Can't wait to give it a go. I think the constant footsteps and jumping sound effect could soon become tiresome though. Maybe there could be an option to turn those two off and keep the rest?

Yeah it may get annoying hehe. Normally there should be music or soundfx... I just need a person to create some mods. Its all included, just the mods are missing. :-) |
