Tales of Gorluth - Credits and Solution Thread

Hi again,

the exciting journey that began in January 2013 has ended.
"Tales of Gorluth" is finished and the boxed version is on its way to people all around the world.

A free download will be available in the near future.

----------------------------------------------------

We have to thank leathered (Lielo) and his girlfriend. They did an amazing job in translating the game.
Without them there wouldn´t be an English version!

THANKS!

----------------------------------------------------

And thanks to everyone who pre-ordered ToG.
You made a professionally packaged Amiga game in 2014 possible.

----------------------------------------------------

Please use this thread if you have any questions about the game (technically, gameplay-wise, ...)

Possible bug?

We had Amiga party this weekend and played ToG a lot. We met a strange behavior (playing English version):

SPOILER ALERT!

There is a quest where the hero has to rescue a group of prisoners from a jail or so. We did and there is a dialogue then where we were sent to do something in the city called Kottel. Regarding previous game experience it should send us to the map mode, where we should go to the city of Kottel. But it brought up to the opening credits instead, where one can choose New Quest, Continue Quest and Next Quest - any of these didnt doe what we expected. Viddi, could you check it?

SPOILER END.

Also another problem: the CD contains unpacked and packed archive for copy (resp. unpack) to a hdd. THESE TWO ARE NOT IDENTICAL! If you want to play the game without problems, use packed version: unpack it to your HDD instead of just copying unpacked drawer from the CD.

You´ve reached the end of quest 1.
Select next quest and continue your adventure.

Mhh...The lha archive should be identical.

I´m working on version 1.1 anyway...

At least name of the drawer is different (TOG_E vs TOG-E) and after the game is launched from the script, it ejects after the intro.

Okay, thanks for the advice, it was not clear enough.

That´s a problem with your CD file system.
It seems to me, that it doesn´t support long file names.

BTW, I will add an info about the quests to the manual. Thanks!

Why not pre-order the boxed version from AmigaKit.com?
