Commodore A2088 Bridgeboard wont work with new ram Expansion

Hi all
I have an amiga 1500 1.3 kickstart with a budda IDE running a 4gb cf card with workbench 1.3 and a A2088 Bridgeboard card.
I wanted to add some extra ram so brought a Zorram A2000 ram Expansion from amigakit because one of the things it said was that it had a 5.5MB mode consistents of the combination of 4MB Fast and 1.5MB Ranger memory. This is especially useful for compatibility with other Zorro cards such as bridgeboards.
But with the ram installed in 4mb or 5.5mb modes the amiga wont boot just get Software error-task held Finish ALL disk Activity Select Cancel to reset/debug error.
If I place it in 8mb mode the computer will boot but you cant use the bridgeboard card with more than 6mb ram so wont run.
anyone had any issues with ram and bridgeboard cards.

Does it work with the A2088 removed? Have you tried changing the slot order?

Yes the ram boots with the bridgeboard removed and I have tried different slots but get the same issue.
