How do I format a .hdf file for AmigaOS?

I have created the file and set the file up as HD0: but when I boot FS-UAE it just gives me a message that it is not a DOS disk. What do I do to format it so I can install AmigaOS 3.9 on it?

Hmm. Will have to look where I can download one of those. I have the 3.9 CD but I suppose I will need a 3.5 floppy image... Its on the AmigaForever DVD, right?

You can boot from the 3.9 CD. At least with WinUAE that works when adding the CD as a folder. No idea about FS-UAE.

I set the CD .iso up as a CD in the FS-UAE config, but it doesn't try and boot it if I have the HD image mounted... Will see if I can run the AmigaForever version of workbench...

Mount the .iso in Linux (or whatever OS you use) and add the mounted drive as a hard disk folder in FS-UAE. You can't boot the iso itself.
