P.G Elettronica PAL/RGB Converter - Sound Sampler/Frame digitizer
I have one of those and I already have a customer yet I've no idea what price to offer. It's not even displayed in www.amiga-hardware.com so it might be rare.

Give it to MOI
;D No clue mate, never heard of this thing, but a board like that with an upscan converter is not bound to be cheapo. |

Ok I figured out that the Pal-Rgb converter fits in the monitor port and has another output for 1084. Accepts RGB signals. (C64 and Amiga sygnals worked), has a switch that changes the output to 1084 between video input and the amiga itself. Has saturation and contrast dials, seperate RGB channel controls and a video out that can output to the sampler&digitizer part
Sampler&digitizer part is connected to the parallel port, two different audio in channels for stereo sampling, video in from the converter, microphone jack and two seperate volume controls Manuals are in italian but I figured out it works with "audiomaster 2" software, can capture sound and images in iff format. Can anyone name a graphic application that can be used with a video digitizer to capture images? I know this thread isn't popular so I've written the important part bold. Maybe I should name this thread to "list your top 10 favourite pal-rgb converters" |

Gimme a couple of days - I'll have a look through the disk boxes and see what I can find.

Hi Burseg,
uploaded VHIStudio to the zone for you - it's a video capture and digi cam grabber that saves in mpeg/jpeg/iff etc and can apply edit effects between sections. Looks to be exactly what you need and it's from Amiga Active CD11. I've got 300+ floppys and 60+ CD's (mostly utils) so it's kinda difficult remembering what I've got . (& that's not including the 2 CD's full of ADF's as well!) Cheers |
