There is an icon editor (or icon creator) in Classic Workbench - can anyone tell me what it is called please...
Thanks. |

Hi Pete, which version of CWB are you using?
The ADV/ADV SP/P96 versions have a nice Icon Creator, Right Click>System>Image-Icon (You can also find it in Sys:Programs) Once loaded you can drag any image file (like a jpg) onto the Icon to make a cool Icon file, it's how I made the Game Icons for my Docky Bar you see here: To edit Icons, Just Right Click>System>Icon Edit |

Hi Steve - I'm not using Classic Workbench at the moment - I have BetterWB set up but I want to create some icons and I have been racking my brains trying to remember which icon editors were included in the Classic Workbench package as I have used them in the past - The one you can drag icons to is called something like "Pic to Icon" ?? but I'm sure there is another editor in the CW setup somewhere - I used the Advance pack in the past.

I`m using PPaint and/or newicon (from Thomas) and Image2Icon. What seems a good solution for at least OS3.1.

Cheers, That's one of the Icon editors Steve.
http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/IconImage I am sure there is another actual editor, where you can create Icons, backgrounds, add text etc included in CW - it's not the standard WB Icon Edit tool. Maybe I am going mad but I am sure this other icon editing tool was part of CW Advance. |

Iconian - pretty sure that it - cheers Steve, many thanks!
But... I am getting an error - I am missing "Chunkyimage.class V2" Could you grab that from CW and let me have it please mate - not sure if it is on Aminet? Update - in fact, Steve could you do me a massive favour and lha the classes drawer from CW and let me have it - I think there are quite a few I have missing and I will just copy them over in one go... @Steve - 2 jobs? (Gasp...) I'm looking after my Dad now as a full time carer - to be honest I had more time on my Amiga (and video games in general) when I was was working full time. |

@crazyc & Steve
Could I also ask for the Libs drawer from Classic Workbench as well guys? Sorry to be a pain in the ar*e - you only realise when you start using a basic 3.1 install just how many other things you need... Be grateful... |
