Timing Fixes confusion
I have another at the moment 'black screen' where I said i knew nothing about timing fixes and was told to google for it.
I did and found something I find a bit strange on my motherbaord it says Rev 1B - ok no problems there I also have a number on the board that looks like (it is partly covered by a barcode sticker) the numer on it is 364720-03. But when I was looking at an overview of amiga boards - I found I should have a Rev 1c board (according to the 364720-03 number) the only part that is really clear is 720-03 - the sticker is diagonally across the number but looks like the rest is 364 What board/revision do I really have |

Here is the info on the timing fixes:
http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/am..._mobo_fix.html It should have been the first hit on Google which is why I said to Google for it since I was posting from a mobile device. As Roy says, if you board is labeled as 1B then that is what it is however all revisions of boards can have timing issues that effect operation of ACA cards and some 040/060 Accelerators as C= used various components across their range of boards. |

However when it comes to timing fixes, they dont always work out the way intended even on same rev boards.

OK - this worries me as it definately seems to be a timing issue as this is I have now received and started using the composite lead and still get the same results. But if I have to reinstall classic WB and WHDLoad this seems a small price to pay. I just hope AmigaKit can get it all sorted out and working together |
