Real-time guitar effects on the Amiga!

Hey

I just finished a new video, and thought that some folks here might like to see it. I use various software like Real-Time Sound Processor II, TREG 1.5/2.0, Technosound Turbo and Henry Lowengard’s HARM to process my guitar in real-time.

Thanks for all the support so far and see you in June at Kickstart 02! Paulee x

Really cool - definitely something I want to tinker with at some point!

Back in the day there was a piece of (free?) Sampler software which did real-time effects like echo and even backwards. I used to plug my guitar into it and it sounded great. Can't remember what the software was though.

Nice work. Back in the early 90s I remember recording a schoolfriend's band and using Stereo Master's real-time echo and reverb for effects - I thought it sounded pretty good at the time!

I had no idea this sort of thing was possible on this class of hardware! And, while I've always been a Gibson-ite, I've always had a soft spot for Telecasters, especially mint ones!

There’s another one called Soundprobe that I haven’t demoed yet

Yeah it’s wild what the Amiga can do due to DMA and near zero latency ¯\_(?)_/¯

I always wanted a Surf Green Esquire but they were always expensive custom shop ones or limited editions, so when Squier made a classic vibe one a few years back I pounced. Absolutely phenomenal guitar after a setup and some brass saddles!
