WICKED, who else enjoyed this game?
Underneath all the "what on earth is this game about and what do you have to do in it" lies one of the most enjoyable games to ever come out on the Amiga, I'm talking about Wicked by Binary Design / Electric Dreams.
Has anyone else played and enjoyed this game? It also contains some of the creepiest coolest Amiga tunes written by the late great Richard Joseph, that and the fast action pace makes this such a good game, so much so I just had to do a "Let's Play" review video of it and also produce the first ever unemulated longplay of it, I hope you enjoy them WICKED REVIEW VIDEO: [ Show youtube player ] WICKED UNEMULATED LONGPLAY: [ Show youtube player ] |

I remember this game.
I really enjoyed it back in the day, the gameplay was simple, but addictive, and the sun and moon, especially the moon getting angry was sweet. |

I remember not understanding it fully perhaps but certainly enjoying my time with it. It was polished and atmospheric. Different too of course
and worth mentioning for the memorable music. You can learn a lot from Richard Joseph's approach to tune and I used to go from listening to Chris Huelsbeck and then Richard Joseph. Sad he had to go so soon |

I remember picking this up because there was literally nothing else in the shop, and being really, really disappointed in it. So hard and so hard to understand.
Stuck with it for a day, and then spent nearly three weeks on it. Cracking game, loved it to bits. |

In fact the 'seeding' portals were hard to see at first, and to understand your growth have to cover all evil ones takes a bit, but one day BAM! you get it and you have lot of fun!

Joseph approach to tune was cinematic, opposed to the 'let's make a cute song here' mainstream approach of the time, and did inspire me deeply, together with cross-contaminating with movie soundtracks

You know what this game needs? A twin-stick or mouse+stick mod.
