Second Samurai AGA/OCS differences?

Are there any enhancements in Second Samurai AGA compared to OCS/ECS version, apart from that it works on AGA? Is it worth playing the AGA version instead of OCS? Or maybe the AGA version is worse than OCS/ECS?

AGA is the way to go, better background gfx, more colours.

Funny , i like the OCS version better

(like the Zool & Chaos Engine games)

More isn´t always better

(besides, they where only "upgraded" from OCS and not specially made for AGA)
Thats why Second Samurai is one heck of an OCS game and only a "Ok ish" AGA Game.

But try out both and decide for yourself.

It looks like the AGA version has a different, more colorful background layer than the OCS version. I cannot see any other difference.

I like the OCS version more, the pure black silhouette background is more atmospheric, IMO.

First picture is OCS, second is AGA. It works nicely on MiSTer now. For AGA, it is necessary to disable any FAST MEM.

The proof that often the differencies from ECS to AGA version of a game are the addition of a playfield (dual playfield of AGA chipset), Copper and improved audio.
