Railroad Tycoon

Don't know if I'm missing something obvious.

I can't lay tracks! It says hold SHIFT and the numeric keys, but nothing happens. Using WinUAE / A1200 stock with ADFs of the game.

Using on a laptop that does have separate numeric keypad too.

Thank you. Let me know if you need any more info.

I’d guess that your WinUAE config is using the numeric pad as joystick input rather than as a numeric pad...

EDIT: Also, if you’re using stock/QuickStart configurations in WinUAE it might be better to go for an A500/1MB setup. This is definitely a 1.3-era game and there’s a tiny chance your problem is the result of an incompatibility with 3.0.

Ah, thank you so much that was exactly the issue. Sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees.

Works fine on A1200 config by the way.
