Have you completed Trolls/Oscar? My congratulations. I think it would have taken many, many hours to complete the game. What is the outro like?
I really love platformgames, but with Trolls/Oscar I cannot let loose the idea it is repeating the same trick over and over again. Once you have played a single level, you have played them all. There is no real incentive to progress to a next level because there is not enough variety in gameplay and graphics and there are no end-of-game bosses to defeat.

Death mask was the last 'new' game I got for my original Amiga 500. Around the same time I bought a PC and played Descent on it for days. Somehow I started to compare both. As I have written before, the lack of decent scenery and use of the same textures over and over again make Death Mask only enjoyable for people who want to see the end. I found the title tune atmosperic, but the ingame 3D-engine too cumbersome to enjoy for more than five minutes..
