I was just thinking the other day how lucky us CD32 users have been, as for the last couple of years we have had an abundant supply of 030 accelerators in the form of the excellent TF330 which have been available pre-built, disruption free supply from several different sources. The A1200 users on the other hand have had little option other than scour eBay for used 030 cards at much higher rates, or wait for erratic supplies of new 030 cards, if any have even been built in the last year or so?



I think anyone arguing the TF1230 should include an FPU are just nitpicking IMO, as said 030 class accelerators only benefits from this feature on very rare occasions, so it makes sense that the handful of people that need this niche functionality should just track down a Blizzard IV, or ACA card and pay the premium. As for everyone else upgrading from stock/memory expansion this will be a nice upgrade, especially for those of us that insist on using higher resolution AGA Workbench modes, having the 030 is a real benefit, including demos, apps, etc.
