I asked Graham if it was ok for me to post this postmortem about the GGS debacle and he said no problem.
I will be short. In the end, Basti agreed to refunding my money if I sent the game back. I took lots of pictures and shipped it. One week later, Basti did refund me via Paypal

As far as I'm concerned, the case is closed. I have shared hires scans of the cover so people in the future can at least check theirs. It would be very nice to have hires scans of a real version.
