Or you can just pull the PCMCIA Card out and put it back in again after booting up for the first time like I do.

I bought my PCMCIA ethernet card on eBay for £20 - they are tons of them about - don't worry about them drying up - mine was brand new! (16-bit ones are cheaper I guess)
