You can play The Pawn as well as a few other Magnetic Scrolls games (Fish, Guild Of Thieves...) from the
Magnetic interpreter if you wish. Just download the interpreter and the corresponding game files (also the hints, where applicable) and you're done. I guess most people use the Windows version, but it will run on ubuntu too.
