I suggest you download the WHDLoad Demo Pack from TheZone, there's quite a few of the classics there.
I also found someone uploaded a Pouet Top Demos archive in TheZone.
Other than that there are large but unorganized demo archives at ftp.funet.fi (very old) and ftp.amigascne.org, and there's of course ftp.scene.org which is not amiga centric but has pretty much everything ever released at any party.
