English Amiga Board - View Single Post - Is it possible to boot into PAL mode on an NTSC A500?

I have a rev 6a A500 and when I hold down the mouse buttons at boot I get the Amiga Early Startup Control screen. On this screen I can change the display options to PAL, or press a key to switch to PAL, but these don't appear to affect how the machine actually boots.

Is it possible to get the slightly higher resolution of PAL on this machine?
