Why do you dig out an old bug report from SpeedGeek posted in May 2011 on #92?

Direct support for Windows or Linux icons is not planned yet. Usually, the icon images are contained in the Windows executables in different sizes. Not worth all the trouble to parse these files. You can grab them with a Resource tool:
