Ok I tried it at 16000Hz and when I sample up within Amos it sounds a bit closer to how it should. However, the sample itself seems to have been cut off about halfway through in the Amos sampler when I import it.

EDIT: I exported it at 8000Hz and I can now pitch it up to near perfect level, but it's still only loading the first half of the sample.
