Hmm, great thread.. after Shmups, Puzzles are my favourite genre..
My favourite one is The Castle and Castle Excellent for MSX (It seems like the MSX is the king of puzzle games, huh?
) .. In second comes.. Eggerland Mystery for MSX
Puyo Puyo for many differente plataforms (Including MSX, where the series was born ) is a great game too, it's in the same vein of columns/tetris , but much more fun, IMO
on Amiga side, I REALLY LOVE Gem'X (Brill game from Kaiko) ... The musics on this game are just fantastic, and the game seems easy in the beggining, but then it gets harder and harder, and in later levels, with the tight time limit, the game gets nearly impossible ..
X-It (Or Zonked .. whatever it was called) is an excellent puzzler for Amiga too ...
Chip's Challenge is pretty good too... although most ideas of it were already in Eggerland ..
